About this course
The Shingo Cultural Enablers Workshop is a practical two-day programme designed to help leaders create cultures where people can contribute their full potential and where continuous improvement can thrive.
Building on the foundations established in Discover Excellence and Systems Design, this workshop explores the Cultural Enablers dimension of the Shingo Model™ and focuses on the principles of Respect Every Individual and Lead With Humility.
Delegates will explore how organisational culture is shaped by behaviours, and how leaders can design systems that encourage engagement, development, collaboration and trust. Through discussion, reflection, case studies and Go & Observe activities, participants will learn how to identify evidence of behaviours in the workplace and understand how systems influence culture and results.

How does it work?
Shingo workshops are typically held from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm in the designated time zone, unless noted otherwise. Discover Excellence is the prerequisite workshop, and Build Excellence is the capstone workshop in the series. In order to maximise the Shingo journey, workshops run in order starting with Discover Excellence, Systems Design and then Cultural Enablers, Continuous Improvement and Enterprise Alignment and finally Build Excellence.
What is the certification?
A certificate of attendance is available to delegates who have attended all the Shingo Systems Design Workshop training days. This is an award from the Shingo Institute and is recognised and highly-respected throughout the manufacturing sector.
