Shingo Systems Design Workshop – NOV
£1250

About this course
Organisational excellence requires well-designed systems to drive ideal behaviours to produce sustainable results.
This highly practical, two-day workshop integrates classroom and on-site experiences at the host facility to build upon the knowledge and experience gained during the Discover Excellence workshop.
It focuses on the Systems and Tools diamonds in the Shingo Model™ and begins by explaining that all work in an organisation is the outcome of a system. Systems must be designed to create a specific end objective. Otherwise, they evolve on their own. Systems drive people’s behaviour, and variation in behaviour leads to variation in results.
Who is the course for?
Delegates that have already taken part in the Discover Excellence Workshop. These are typically Senior Managers responsible for introducing and managing world-class transformation across their organisations.
Learning Outcomes
This program is a highly interactive experience designed to make learning meaningful and immediately applicable. In this workshop, you will:
- Discover three types of essential systems
- Explore the five required communication tools for each system
- Learn how to create and use system maps
- Understand system standard work and how it drives improvement
Further Information – Workshop Schedule
In the context of Organisational Excellence, we know that ideal results require ideal behaviour, and that purpose and systems drive behaviour while principles inform behaviour. This workshop shows you how to align principles and systems to drive behaviour and close the gap to Organisational Excellence!
