Shingo™ Cultural Enablers Workshop
Cultural Enablers continues to build upon the knowledge and experience gained in the previous workshops and explains that tools and systems alone do not operate a business. People do. Each person within an organisation has a set of values and beliefs that influences the way he or she behaves. Ultimately, the aggregate of people’s behaviours makes up organisational culture, and culture greatly influences results.
With every workshop, participants gain a deeper into the Shingo Model and assessment methodology. You will learn to see and evaluate, in a real-life setting, how well an existing culture is aligned with guiding principles in order to elicit ideal behaviours. The principles in this workshop make it possible for people in an organisation to engage in the transformation journey, progress in their understanding, and build a culture of organisational excellence. Organisational excellence cannot be achieved through top-down directives or piecemeal implementation of tools. It requires a widespread organisational commitment. The CULTURAL ENABLERS workshop will help you define ideal behaviors and the systems that drive them by using behavioural benchmarks.
- Respect Every Individual
- Lead with Humility
Eventually, your organisation may want to challenge for the Shingo Prize and be evaluated by a team of expert examiners against the principles you learn in this workshop. Whether your organisation challenges for the Shingo Prize or not, you’re about to embark on a journey of excellence that will change the way you think about organisational culture and how to achieve and sustain the appropriate results.
Who are the Shingo workshops for?
They are perfect for business leaders and senior managers committed to next level operational excellence. With active discussions and on site learning at a host organisation, this program is a highly interactive peer-to-peer experience designed to make your learning meaningful and immediately applicable.
