David is highly experienced in research, development, quality and design activities in medium engineering manufacturing companies. A wide range of practical and theoretical ideas have been applied to engineering and process projects including planning and control of major projects. Quality, safety and reliability engineering and management bias to the last thirty years combined with management and technical qualifications leading to operating as an independent consultant in Continuous Improvement.  David is skilled in the introduction, implementation and improvement of Quality Systems to Automotive and International standards. Contributions to academic and industry-based research projects and professional institutions via papers and presentations on engineering and quality methods in collaboration with a number of UK universities and high technology companies.

Specialties: Reliability and quality improvement using management and statistical methods. Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Statistical Design of Experiments. Product Design and Development with minimum risk of safety and reliability field failures. Team building and development via coaching and direct training in Problem Solving, Lean Six Sigma and associated Continuous Improvement and Quality methods.
