Steve has over 20 years of experience in product and process quality improvement including Lean, Six Sigma and many supporting techniques and tools applied throughout the automotive industry in various roles. This experience spans manufacturing, engineering and business domains within a UK automotive OEM, and their ‘tier 1’ supply base. As a consultant, Steve has been supporting the development of improvement capabilities across a wide range of sectors including retail, business services, pharma and local government.
With significant experience in teaching and coaching Lean Six Sigma ‘Belts’ at all levels, Steve has also led the development of integrated learning programmes for process excellence, quality improvement and leadership, delivering success through partnership and collaboration.
As Chartered Engineer, Six Sigma Master Black Belt and experienced Improvement Leader, Steve brings experience of practice across a wide range of improvement approaches including strategic improvement planning & project portfolio management, Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Failure-Mode Avoidance, New Product Development & Introduction, CI leadership and integration of OpEx approaches.
