Further Information
During our course, delegates can expect to learn several key Six Sigma Green Belt competencies that support using data driven problem solving. However, there is also a strong focus on leadership development, including the change management skills required to build strong and resilient project teams capable of creating momentum around Six Sigma culture and the practices required to sustain improvement activity for long-term financial benefits.

Educational Aims – Six Sigma Overview / Six Sigma relationship with Lean / Voice of the Customer and Critical to Quality requirements / Project Definition and Scoping / Process and Project Mapping / Basic Statistics and Introduction to Minitab and Measurement Systems Analysis
Session 2 - Delivered over 3-days
Educational Aims – Statistical Process Control (SPC) / Capability Analysis / Cause and Effect Matrix (C&E) / Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) / Hypothesis Testing and Population Means (t-test)
Session 3 - Delivered over 4-days
Educational Aims – ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) / Proportion Tests / Correlation and Regression / Improve / Control Plans / Standards 5S / Total and Productive Maintenance (TPM)

How does it work?
The course runs between 9.00 am to 12.30 pm over 10-days x 2 blocks of 3-days and 1 block of 4-days (3.5 hours per session)
What is the entry-level requirement?
Typically, delegates will have a key role within a Six Sigma project delivery team. Attendees should have a basic knowledge of lean tools and techniques and experience within a manufacturing environment.
What does it include?
Includes access to materials, direction and support in our virtual learning environment (VLE) It’s Learning.
What are the pre-course requisites?
To gain the most from this programme, delegates should ideally have a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and knowledge of Minitab® is an advantage (not required for the condensed Bootcamp course).
What is the certification?
A certificate of attendance is available to delegates who have attended all the Six Sigma Green Belt Bootcamp training days. This is an award from The Manufacturing Institute.
