Leadership Development Programme

Helping future leaders achieve their full potential

If you’re looking to improve your management and leadership skills, our Leadership Development Programme will give you the know-how required to make an impact on the shop floor, drive your teams forward and add value to your business.

Delivered by high achieving manufacturers with substantial experience, the course combines lean manufacturing techniques with the interpersonal skills necessary to be a confident and effective leader. It’s a hands-on programme, with 12 modules spread over eight days of intensive training, including a best-practice factory visit.

No formal qualifications are necessary, so it’s perfect for first line managers with strong practical skills, but little post-16 education. As well as team leaders, typical participants include production or logistics supervisors, senior technicians and production operatives.

Why study this course?

  • Learn effective skills for leading, managing and motivating a team
  • Gain an understanding of the basics of lean manufacturing
  • Improve your communication and influencing techniques
  • Get to grips with employment law and health and safety regulations
  • Strengthen your time management skills to meet the challenges of modern manufacturing
